Van and Becky met in Nashville at Trevecca Nazarene College and married in 1981. They have 4 children and 5 grandchildren. Both are ordained elders in the Church of the Nazarene, having served as ministers to youth from 1993 to 2009, in Tuscaloosa, AL, Lavelle, PA, and Lakeland, FL. They accepted the call to NFM NAZ in 2009 and have together, led this faith community, where they now serve as co-pastors. Their goal as ministers is to actively pursue, preach, and live the message of heart holiness (1 Peter 1:14-16).
​Heather was born in El Paso, Texas on May 28, 1970. She has lived in several different states and countries due to her father's military service. The family finally settled in Northern Virginia, where Heather spent most of her early days. She relocated to Florida when at age 26.
Heather married her husband, Rick in 1998, and they have six children and 14 grandchildren between them. They moved to LaBelle, Florida three years ago, and began attending North Ft. Myers Church of the Nazarene.
Heather has been singing in church since she was a child, and has always felt that music and leading worship is the place God has chosen for her to serve. Her family has a rich musical heritage for which she is very grateful for. While she has sung on worship teams and in choirs in the past, this is the first church where she has served as worship leader, and pours her heart into leading.
